Pattern cutting classes
For Kids wear we have graded and ungraded patterns to work from at the school. This class is not a online class.
At the Creamberry school of sewing you are able to learn patterncutting. Step by step you will learn to make your own fitted patterncuttings that you can change to your needs.
You will be guided to your designmaking dream.
This step-by-step introductory pattern cutting course will introduce you to the basic techniques for womenswear. For womens clothing we’ll be working from a standard size 12 template (block) and you’ll investigate how to make a range of pattern pieces for the bodice, skirt and sleeve... The original patterns are from London College of Fashion, where I studied Design technology for the womens market.
The goal ist to be able to make all patterncutting and to stop spending money on badly fitted patterncuttings.

BASIC BODICE BLOCK
DESCRIPTION:
Ever wanted to create your own designs using sewing pattern blocks or slopers? Well, let us send you a free bodice block with your aplikation. This bodice
block can be printed at home and you can cut, slice, slash and alter to your heart’s content.
The BASIC BODICE BLOCK is free for everyone joining the class Online patterncutting classes. The printout will be sent to your E-mail. Simple, easy and fast.
Grading classes
In this class you will learn all about grading.
Pattern grading is a technique for creating different sizes of a finished pattern. The initial pattern is created in a base size (not the smallest size), usually a size 10 or size 12.
Once you have a pattern that is perfected, the pattern can be made in the other sizes by increasing or decreasing the pattern at set (or cardinal) points.
In the first place I will teach you to size the templates in to your size with your measurements.
This class can be booked as a online class or in our studio.

You can even bring a picture and we can take your measurement to make a perfect fitted garment

- Measure and check pattern against garment measurements
For accuracy
- Add seam allowance, markings & notches
- Choose what fabric and trims to buy to make your garment
- To continue making your garment from your new pattern with our support you can book more Stitch Classes
In case your garment has pockets, darts, wasteband or collar/cuffs it may take more classes to finish.
We provide: rulers, pattern paper (charged 1 €, Free if not using paypal to pay), tracing wheels, scissors, pins, tape measure, sewing machine - or bring your own.
